Investment in good quality paintings can be a very wise financial move as their value rarely stands still. However, the pleasure to be derived from living with a painting that you have chosen because you like it surpasses any monetary value.

Artists generally show their work through a 'high street' gallery or online in a virtual gallery dealing with many artists. I have selected to have my own web site and I also show my work in a small gallery adjacent to my studio on the Beech Road in Arklow. While a section of my paintings may be outside the price range of some many are within a range that would make them very suitable as presentation gifts or indeed as investments.
 
I work on commission from time to time depending on circumstances. I like my paintings to bring pleasure and I get joy from painting, for example- a person’s favourite place; perhaps a house or garden that is meaningful, or a landscape that may be special to an individual.
